Dreamsport Photography subcontracts to other photo companies from time to time to shoot events. Today I was lucky enough to shoot the Brisbane marathon, half marathon and 10KM event.
These photos are some of the colourful characters I got to interact with on the run/. While some runners are either very focussed, listening to their MP3 players or just in a world of private hurt, others are more than happy to joke around, jump, make funny faces and so on.

I was recently lucky enough to be given a trip to France to report on the Tour de France while doing a bicycle tour. All the details can be seen on my personal blog.
The following links are where all the media (photos and videos) I took during the tour de France can be found.
I have created one special set that contains most of the Bikestyle people photos I took – though I may have missed some.
Note none of these are edited at all.

This year Dreamsport Photography is the official photographers for the TRAQ Glasshouse trail runs. The Flinders Tour event based in Beerburrum on 24th July was held in crisp clear weather with excellent conditions for running and photographing.
We will be providing 1 photo to all entrants. There are also plenty of other photos available from in the field. these will be available in the start, crowd, trail and finishers galleries. Where possible race numbers have been used in the photo titles and can be searched for on the website.
Please select your photos and email the file numbers sales@dreamsportphotography.com to receive them. If your race number was less than 100 it will have leading zeros - e.g. 007, 041 etc.

The final run (Race 5) in the Corporate Challenge 2011 Series was held at the Runaway Bay Super Sports Complex on 19th June 2011 in crisp cool weather.
The series finished with a 5km race and a 10km in the progressive series as well as the Junior Dart races. Course records were broken!
There are several galleries of photos. Where possible race numbers have been used in the photo titles and can be searched for on the website. These photos are in the 5km Finishers and 10 km Finishers and Junior Dart galleries. If your race number was less than 100 it will have leading zeros - e.g. 007, 041 etc.
There are also the crowd, start and trophies galleries to look in for for your photos.
We now have a light box setup so you can view your photos with an easy next previous system.

Dreamsport Photography will also donate 10% of sales to the Ronald McDonald House Charity. Travis Ireland presented a cheque for $14,696 for the money raised so far from the event.

The 4th of June was an auspicious day for the sunshine coast with its first professional Mountain bike team - the Ayup Racing Team having its launch day.
Australian Mountain Bike Champion Andy Fellows has started a professional MTB team with the aim of assisting and mentoring young riders into the sport that he has achieved so much in.
Dreamsport photography was on hand to capture some media shots along with the Channel 7 TV camera and then the official photos at the team launch event at Coast Noosa.
Sponsors representatives from Silverback (FRF Sports), AY-UP LIghts and Esanda were also present.

Dreamsport Photography is committed to seeing the 2011 Sports Super Centre Fun Run Series through and today we had Photographer Jayde on the finish line snapping away furiously. Fortunately the rain held off and there are a great set of photos in the galleries.

The Dirtfest this year was moved to the Ewen Maddock Dam, a beautiful spot in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Beautiful rainforest and lots of mud.
There were 2 XC events, a 20km and a 50km. Riders had to contend with mud, roots, some bridges and some rain as well as dodging fellow competitors and some crazy photographer lying at the side of the track in numerous crashworthy spots! And there are a few! Some of my favourites are show below.

Dreamsport Photography shot the second race of the 2011 Sports Super Centre Fun Run Series in much cooler conditions that race 1. That was fortunate as no one collapsed on the finish line this time. However we did get a downpour during the junior dart meaning some of those photos aren't quite as good as they could be as we rapidly adjusted for the conditions. I ended up lying on the track with a plastic chair over the camera to keep the rain off!
