Social media is the way to a sponsors heart. Why not give them massive coverage on facebook / instagram far cheaper than they can buy advertising in those channels.

Event managers and participants love FREE photos. So why not get your sponsors to pay for them?

The Basics

Here is the information we provide to event managers with the idea of getting sponsors to pay for high quality sports photography, providing great free images to Facebook for the customers and getting sponsors logos on the images for some amazing engagement for them.

Here are some deals for you to consider – the expectation is that you can sell to a sponsor the following social media coverage idea.

Using an example of 2-3 albums of approx. 400-500 photos on Facebook that are shared and viewed upward of 2-3000 times (that’s minimum 5 views per image) In most events we would see interaction of around 10-20K views with shares, likes and comments as well. That is a lot of coverage for the sponsor who can have prominent footer images / logos / messaging on each photo. Asking a sponsor to pay $500 for that is a bargain for them.

If you get two sponsors to pay $500 each you can come out in front with option 2.

We can tailor these deals to the actual event, the expectation for number of images to be shot and expected number of competitors.

Option 1 – sponsors social media package

Coverage by 1 photographer from – Suggest finish line or mid-course close to finish somewhere to get runners separated out.

Expectations - 3-4 photos of each runner for small events where runners are spread out, larger events would be approximately 600-800 photos per hour depending on volume of runners. Expect maybe 1000-2000 images.

Delivery - posted as small web size photos on our Facebook (can also be uploaded directly to your page if you give us access) within 1-2 days of the event. See below events for examples.

Includes: 30-40 full size edited images for your use in future promotions

Sponsors banner to be created and added to images by us – you supply logos and wording etc.

Cost $450

(Note you cannot expect full coverage of an event with this option, this is really an option to add quality sports photography into an event where you have another photographer covering the actual event, eg start and finish photos, sponsors, crowd and podiums etc)

Option 2 – sponsors social media package

Full coverage by two photographers – e.g. one mid-course and one at the start / finish area covering event and crowd photos as well as start and finish.

Expect 30-50 crowd and event images, as well as 2-3 of each participant for smaller events, larger events would be roughly 600-800 photos per hour depending on volume of runners. Expect maybe 2000-3000 images.

Delivery - posted as small web size photos on our Facebook (can also be uploaded directly to your page if you give us access) within 1-2 days of the event. See below events for examples.

Option 3 – sponsors social media package

Full coverage by four photographers – e.g. one finish line, two mid-course and one at the start / finish area covering event and crowd photos as well as start and finish.

Expect 100-200 crowd and event images, as well as 4-6 of each participant for smaller events, larger events would be roughly 600-800 photos per hour depending on volume of runners. Expect maybe 4000-6000 images.
