The Tour de Brisbane event in 2021 combined the National Road Series Mens and Womens events and is a UCI Gran Fondo World Series event. There were also several other events including a Gran Fondo, Medio and Piccolo as well as a community ride. All this was part of a multi day festival of cycling showcasing Brisbane as a cycling destination.
Dreamsport Photogrpahy had a brief to deliver high quality cycling photos that captured the iconic nature of the course – which featured a closed road and travel through otherwise off limits to cyclists roads, including, the Story Bridge, the bus ways and tunnels, Legacy way tunnel and the inner city bypass. Even better was the access to the Mt Cootha climb as a closed road both up and down, allowing blistering speeds to be set where normally there are speed limits and cars.

Kingscliff welcomed its first triathlon in 2010 and has hosted two triathlons at the beginning and end of each summer every year since.
The “Kingy Tri” was created as a community sporting event to celebrate the Tweed and get the whole family active. While in the years since, the triathlon hosted State Championships and World Qualification races, we stay true to our fun, personal, and local roots.
The Kingscliff Triathlon holds a longstanding tradition of fundraising for the Cudgen Headland SLSC, and a number of other community groups including Tweed Raiders JRL, Kingscliff Rotary, Murwillumbah Venturer Scouts, Murwillumbah Public School, Tweed Valley Triathletes, TAFE, and Pottsville Men’s Shed. Our goal this year is to raise over $7000 for these local groups. Additionally we are seeking to employ $4500 in labour services directly from the Tweed.

Triathlon in Byron Bay is steeped in history and is now going into its 25th year. It is an Olympic Distance event and attracts around 1,400 competitors from many different countries.
Traditionally it is held on the Mother’s Day weekend every year and signals the last race in the QLD/NSW triathlon calendar. As a result, it is often seen as an end of season party for many competitors with a big party on the Saturday night. Due to its fantastic location, many competitors also bring their family, stay for a week and relax in the beautiful Byron Shire.
The Byron Bay Tri is regarded by many as one of the friendliest triathlons on the coast. Competitors enjoy a 1.5km ocean swim in the crystal clear, tranquil waters of Byron Bay; a 40km cycle past rainforest, coastal bush and the gently rolling farmland of Northern NSW; then top it all off with a run along the foreshore, under the picturesque Byron Bay Lighthouse.

Brisbane’s fastest half marathon event and the state champs is the Great South Run.

FAST, FLAT, FRIENDLY
Pottsville on the North Tweed Coast is the picture perfect coastal destination for a Triathlon. With a fast and flat course, combined with Pottsville’s laidback atmosphere….it’s easy to see why the Tweed Enduro is one of Australia’s favourite long course events!
The Enduro distance is a long course and offers two categories – an Enduroist for experienced competitors pushing for a new PB, plus a non-competitive First Timer wave, to encourage those attempting a long course for the first time! In addition there was a Sprint+ race and Aquabike.
Regarded by many as one of the friendliest 70.3 long course events, competitors enjoy a 1.9km creek swim, a 90km cycle, then top it all off with a 21.2km half marathon along the beach front in Pottsville with crowds to cheer you home!

The Yeerongpilly Green is a fast growing inner suburbs development that will eventually house 5000 residents and contain shopping centres and recreational areas. The central Green was the site of the inaugural Yeerongpilly Green Relay Running Festival. The course was laid out to be an exact mile and that facilitated some great Magic mile action as well as the course for the relay being a solid 1600 metres making it not quite a sprint but not quite an amble either. The top runners were certainly clocking fast laps.
The day started hot and windy but eventually cooled down and a nice shower at 8PM cooled things down as well.
The Dreamsport Photography team was there and all the low res unedited photos are available free on Facebook in the following folders. Feel free to tag and share. These free images are made available thanks to all the sponsors in the banners on each photo.

The 2019 Greater Springfield Marathon held on 15th August 2019 was changed from last year to be just the out and back loops at the top of Springfield. The course included some tight little hills and provided runners of all ages and ability the opportunity to mingle and encourage each other on the course. This provided a great atmosphere for the event.
The event is an awesome morning road race and was run in near perfect morning conditions in Springfield, Brisbane. The race precinct was situated right next to the start and finish line.
All events started at the same time and then proceeded to do different numbers of laps of the course. Light cloud cover kept the temperatures down and made for some great photo opportunities.
The Dreamsport Photography team was there and all the low res unedited photos are available free on Facebook in the following folders. Feel free to tag and share. These free images are made available thanks to all the sponsors in the banners on each photo.

The Coast Redlands Fun Run 2019 held on 11th August 2019 was a fun and relaxed event along the waterfront complex of Raby Bay. The out and back loops provided runners of all ages and ability the opportunity to mingle and encourage each other on the course. This provided a great atmosphere for the event.
The event is an awesome morning road race and was run in near perfect morning conditions in Raby Bay, Brisbane. The race precinct was situated right next to the finish line at the Marina.
The 10km runners took off first followed by the 5km runners 15 minutes later providing a good opportunity for finishers from the two events to come in at the same time. After that was all done there was presentations followed by the kids 1KM Dash and then their presentations.

How to Purchase
We do things a little differently from other companies.
- We don’t have a shopping cart because we don’t mass produce images.
- We individually edit every photo we sell.
- We shoot high resolution large images – suitable for you to print A3 size or more. Why have pro gear and not use it?
- We have some special deals for competitors in the Redlands Coast Fun Run.
- We have lots of happy customers who keep coming back for more
- We specialise in Sports Photography Events in Brisbane and South East Queensland
So you have to find just the ones you want to buy and email to let us know the file numbers for each image. OR you could say please give me all my images – show us one – and we will locate the rest for you.
We then send you a payment link for secure credit card payment and away we go. We supply bulk images via a drop box download link and individual ones we email. We also will accept bank transfer. Sorry no peanuts accepted.
Prints we ship to you in a flat cardboard parcel for protection.
Note: sample photos are unedited, low quality and size and have a large watermark. Purchased edited images are adjusted for exposure and colour and provided as full size digital images with a small discreet watermark in the corner. Some sample photos are also too dark or too light. this will be corrected in the edited image.

Use our bib search system to locate your photos. Enter your bib number and search, or drill down into the event and specific galleries. if your race number was less than 100 please include the leading zeros – eg. race number 3 is 003, 49 is 049 etc. You can also search for “nonumber” in case we have photos where your number wasn’t visible.

We do a special deal for all your own photos. This is a fantastic deal if we were able to get lots of photos of you and you can’t choose which one you like best. We don’t believe you should have to shell out big bucks after the event to get measly images of yourself. We have a very realistic pricing structure. After all we enter events and want our photos too, so we know what its like as a competitor. Great pricing for families to pool together; the more you buy the cheaper it gets.

The 2019 Great South Run held on 7th April 2019 was dry and cool and excellent running conditions for the all runners.
Brisbane's Great South Run is a super fast, flat, IAAF-AIMS certified half marathon on Sunday 8 April 2018 now in its 4th year and host of the 2018 Queensland Athletics State Half Marathon Championships.
The event is an awesome morning road race run in very nearly flat out and back road laps on Paradise Road, Algester, Brisbane. There is an amazing race precinct right next to the road and a very cool village atmosphere, with lots of finished runners and supporters cheering on all the other runners still on course.
A combined start of all three events 5km 10km and half marathon saw the elite runners get away at a great pace. Due to all events on course at the same time, even though we have numbered most of the photos we have actually grouped them into small galleries based on the time they were shot. This should especially help the 5km runners find their images it they had their bib on their back or covered. Of course the bib search system is the best way to find your photos!
