Travis and the team at Corporate Challenge certainly put on a great event. And the Sports Super Centre Fun Runs are excellent. They are designed as lead up training events for the Gold Coast Marathon each year. This is the 4th year Dreamsport Photography have been capturing these events.

This year its a little different format. The monthly 5km run is now a handicapped event – with nominated times for the first run, and then the best time achieved from then on in used to calculate the handicap start time. The progressive series is a 4 race series that increases in distance from 5km at Race 1 to the Half Marathon at Race 4.

INSTRUCTIONS - PLEASE READ THIS

All race numbers have 3 digits for this event – eg 22 = 022 and 318 = 318. Handicap numbers were all the same for the same time starting so you will need to sort your numbers from the others with the sane number.

For all race numbers under 100 please make sure you use a 3 digit number. E.g. if you were number 22 then search for 022 , number 324 search for 324 etc.  Pace and Travis are also labelled. We love shooting the Geoffs Runs events – and the 2015 Dusk to Dawn at the Caboolture Historical Village was just as good as any other.

Lots of great competitors, tight competition, hot sweaty action, good coffee, and a lovely atmosphere.

This year wasn’t too hot and there was no rain. A lovely sunset provided for some great photos.

The event includes short events like the kids 10km, half and full marathons as well as ultra events including 50 and 100km, 6 hour and 12 hour events. There are also a variety of relays for the 6 and 12 hour events and these are always hotly contested.

As usual we shot through most of the night and there are a lot of photos online.

Dreamsport Photography has been the official photographers for a number of years for all the Geoffs Runs events now. We had 2 photographers at various points on the track covering the huge number of entrants and providing a wide range of different shots with opportunities for people to get lots of photos of themselves. We also shot with strobe lights (as you would know) during the night so we should have covered virtually everyone.

Of course there are always the few ninjas out there who sneak by our cameras. And being a night event the low light photos are going to be grainy. Still high res high quality photos as always!

The samples online are unedited, but every image we sell is edited: cropped and straightened if needed, adjusted for exposure and light balance.

This event has no bib numbers so you cant search for your number. That kind of sucks, but if you know when you were running you should be able to find yourself in the galleries.

The 2015 Dusk to Dawn galleries are broken up to try and give you the best opportunity to do that.

• Afternoon – 4-6PM – these are half and marathon runners only.
• Evening 6-7PM – these will be everyone and is the largest gallery
• 7PM to Midnight – from 7PM to Midnight – mostly with strobes (we can correct light balance)
• Midnight to 6AM – 12 hour event runners only from midnight to the finish

Photos are edited for light and colour balance as necessary and straightened and cropped minimally if required. If you want to re-edit your photo, have no watermark, use it for business website or commercial use please contact us for royalty free pricing.

TRAQ have one run outside of Queensland, the Washpool National Park trail run in the Gibraltar Ranges, a beautiful part of the New South Wales Countryside.

This is the first year we have been able to get down to it – but what a stunning place. There is kilometres of amazing trails in all different sorts of terrain, from lush rainforest, to granite tors and escarpments with waterfalls this place has it all.

There are three distances, a 50km ultra, a 25km and a 9km short course. All of them include a spectacular loop known as the tree fern loop. I got photos of all competitors on this loop as well as some finish line photos and all the 25kms also on the Dandahra Trail.

Here are some of our favourite shots from the day.

A bright sunny day without the normal blustery winds proved to be good running conditions for the 14th annual Bribie Beach Bash.

The run comprises an out and back along a hard sandy beach and contains distances of 50km, marathon, half marathon, the Steven Hill 15km, 10km, 6km and 3km providing options for the entire family.

Geoff Williams always puts on a great event  for his favourite charity Multiple Sclerosis Queensland and this was no different.

Dreamsport Photography had two photographers on the beach capturing all the action – some serious and some just plain crazy! That's running!

We have just over 1000 images in the full 2014 Bribie Beach Bash Gallery and some great deals for runners to purchase their photos. As there were no race numbers you cannot search for your bib number. However photos of each person are largely clumped together out and back.

Race Organisers Gonya Adventures have pioneered a duathlon on the Blackbutt to Moor Trail Trail. with three fantastic events to get it started the day was a wonderful success. It had everything; rural lifestyle and vistas, rugged bush and scenery in the Benarkin State Forest, magpie swoops, and even some reports of zombies! The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail Ambassadors did a wonderful job manning all the stock gates so that runners and riders didn’t have to stop. This was very much appreciated! Thanks a lot ambassadors!

The courses included:

• an 8km trail run (out and back)
• a short and long course duathlon. the short was a 4 km run (2km out and back) an 18km ride (9km out and back) and finished with a 1 km run – magpies included!
• a long course – 30km trail run down to Linville and onto Moore, and then riding back. This could also be done in teams with one person running and another riding.

Dreamsport Photography is Brisbane’s premier trail running and adventure photographers specialising in this sort of event.

We had photographers capturing all the action out on the trails as well as at the finish line and even the mapgpie doing his evil work!

Brisbane City FC took on the Brisbane Strikers at their home ground Spencer Park in Newmarket in a National Premier League Under 14 Match on 7 September 2014.

As the late afternoon sun came down the match developed into a thrilling affair. City Scored early and the Strikers were on the back foot. A couple of cracking attempts were saved by the effort of City’s Keeper Harmond Wakeling. In the second half the Strikers equalised with a wonderful right foot shot that got around the defence and past City’s second keeper’s outstretched hands. A late direct penalty awarded to City was saved by the Strikers keep anticipating well.

The signature event in the Trail Running Association of Queensland’s Calendar Glasshouse Series is the Glasshouse 100. Featuring a 160km (100 mile) and a 100km event that are ranked by the International Trail Running Association as qualifying races for the 2015 The North Face® Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc®. It is recognised as one of Australia’s Premier Ultra Tail events. It was also the first 100 mile event in Australia. There are also shorter options with a 50km, 30km and 10km attracting plenty of entrants as well.

The Glasshouse Mountains are a series of volcanic plugs just north of Brisbane. We have been running and mountain biking in this area for 20 years and love taking photos of others enjoying the spots we love. If you come to Brisbane especially for this event make sure you take some photos away as a reminder. We have more sports photography images in this area than any one else!

This year TRAQ was not giving away free photos with the entry as they have in previous years. However Dreamsport Photography still had 4 points of the course covered aiming to give a wide representation of the terrain, scenery and of course the runners.

The 2014 TRAQ Glasshouse 100 photo gallery has these sub galleries:
