2012 Brisbane Bike Week Mt Cootha Challenge

Bicycle Queensland holds a public awareness bike week every year. It is a festival of all things cycling. I shot the Great Brisbane Bike Ride which includes the Mt Cootha Challenge. an 85km bike ride round Brisbane including a climb over Mt Cootha. There are also shorter events including 10km, 30km and 50km.

Lots of people ride and get involved and I was mostly shooting the finish line. I have included some of the shots I captured including winners (everybody is a winner), grinners, tandems and recliners and tow-alongs, little kids and some of the crowd and officials. there was even one post finish line crash.
